Business Administration offers two degrees.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is a 120-credit program that provides a solid business core curriculum, coupled with a well-rounded advanced course sequence that prepares any students for a career in the business field of their choice. The Bachelor of Science program supports the quantitative nature of business and pushes students to succeed in topics such as Finite Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, and Accounting. In addition, students study Marketing, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Behavior, and International Business. Students then apply the theories and techniques to real-world business case studies. The program ends with a Business Capstone selection.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Management

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Management is a 120-credit program designed for those transferring to Nevada State College with an accredited AAS degree. This program is designed to provide a solid business core while also allowing students to package a 12-credit upper division focus in an area of their choice. Example areas of emphasis include: Communications, Management, Leadership, Psychology, or Political Science. Students in this program also receive fundamental business writing skills and diverse business knowledge through advanced-standing major courses.

Many business classes at NSC are offered online. However, it is not a fully online degree. Some required courses are only offered as in-person or hybrid courses, including the following: ACC 201 & 202, BUS 261, ECON 261, FIN 301, IS 101, IS 301, and MATH 132. One of the two capstone options, BUS 497, is also offered in a hybrid format (though students may complete the other capstone option, BUS 498, entirely online). Students interested in a business degree at NSC should plan on taking a number of face-to-face courses on-site over the course of their degrees.
