As an education student at Nevada State College, you will get the knowledge and experience you need to thrive and succeed as teachers or speech language pathologists.
Education students at NSC choose from several program options, including two separate degrees in elementary education, five degrees in secondary education and a major in speech pathology.
No matter which option you choose, you'll learn in small classes with experienced faculty. Each of our faculty members combine extensive professional experience and scholarship with a personal approach.
You will also get plenty of experience of your own. NSC has a strong relationship with our local school district, where our students get to participate in a minimum of fifty hours of classroom observations and sixteen weeks of student teaching for teacher education students and clinical placements for speech language pathology students.
