If you work while you attend NSC or have other obligations that make attending daytime classes challenging, this degree option is for you. The Evening and Online Program allows you to complete a BA in History by taking classes in the evening or online. We are committed to offering at least 12 credits each semester in this format.
Many of the in-person evening classes will be offered in a unique hybrid format, where you will meet for one evening a month and then complete the rest of your work online. This allows you to connect with faculty and classmates, but also gives you the flexibility to work on your own time.
We began this pilot program in response to student surveys, where students overwhelmingly asked for more classes that accommodated their schedules. We see this as a terrific opportunity for all students, but it should be particularly helpful for students that work during the day or students that live a considerable distance from campus. Importantly, we'll will still maintain traditional daytime courses, allowing for even more flexible scheduling options.
