In 2014, Nevada State College broke ground for the James E. & Beverly Rogers Student Center and the Nursing, Science & Education Building,  and a presidential initiative authorized the creation of the Office of Arts & Culture.

The mission of the Office of Arts & Culture is to create spaces and opportunities for creative synergy and innovation between the campus and the community through initiatives that enhance living and learning through partnerships for the appreciation of Arts & Culture.
