Can anyone attend NSSA meetings?

Yes. The meetings are open to the public, per the Nevada Open Meeting Law.

How can I find out what's on the NSSA meeting agenda?

Per Nevada Open Meeting Law, the agenda for all NSSA joint meetings and individual board meetings is posted by 9:00 a.m. on the third business day before the meeting. You'll find the posting at all campus buildings: Basic & Water II, Dawson, the Rogers Student Center, Liberal Arts & Sciences, and the Nursing, Science, and Education. You can also find the agendas posted here.

How can I get copies of minutes from past NSSA meetings?

Per Nevada Open Meeting Law, any member of the public can request these minutes. You can find them online here.

How can I get involved in NSSA?

Every enrolled student at NSC is a member of NSSA. If you re interested in a greater role, perhaps as a senator or Executive Board member, elections are held at the beginning of each fall and spring semester, and in April for the next academic year.

Are NSSA events free to attend?

Yes. They re already paid for by student fees.
