Study Abroad - Dublin Ireland

Nevada State College and the School of Education are pleased to announce the third study abroad program to the Marino Institute of Education, an associated college of the University of Dublin, Trinity College, in Dublin, Ireland.

The course being offered is Language Learning , which will satisfy the 3 credit School of Education requirement for EDRL 471, Language Acquisition, Development and Learning.

Program dates: June 8-June 19, 2015 with departure from Las Vegas on June 6 and return June 21st, 2015.

The cost of the program is $1,808 which includes tuition, fees, excursions, and room and board (breakfast seven days a week, lunch five days a week). Dinners and airfare are not included.

$100 Application Fee (Money Order), medical/health and travel insurance, and passport are required. Federal and NSC Financial Aid applies.

A School of Education faculty member will accompany students on the trip. The course itself will be taught by a professor from the college in Ireland. Classes will meet Monday-Friday, four hours per day in the morning, for two weeks. Afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free to travel and explore Ireland.

Non-education majors are also encouraged to apply. The course would count as an elective for non-education majors and will satisfy the core curriculum cultural diversity requirement. Don't miss out on this exciting and unique opportunity to experience international education!
