Assessing Faculty and Staff Performance

This section contains policies and procedures on how performance evaluations are conducted for professional staff and classified employees, including establishing performance expectations/standards, setting SMART goals, and participating in the performance evaluation discussion.

Academic faculty performance evaluation forms for the period of January 1 December 31, 2012 have been distributed to the deans. Performance evaluation discussions need to be completed and forms need to be submitted to the Office of Human Resources by Friday, March 29, 2013.

Administrative faculty performance evaluation forms for the period of January 1 December 31, 2012 have been distributed to campus. Performance evaluation discussions need to be completed and forms need to be submitted to the Office of Human Resources by Friday, April 19, 2013.

Classified staff performance evaluations are conducted throughout the year based on employees' anniversary dates. Reminders are sent to classified employees and their supervisors from HR in advance of the due dates.
