Dr. Robinson joined Nevada State College in 2003. His specialties are literary/film theory, cinema studies, and 20th-century American literature. His book, All Movies Love the Moon, is a collection of short creative texts and accompanying images that traces the history of early film.

He has also been published in Literature/Film Quarterly and has a chapter in the 2012 Blackwell Companion to Literature, Film, and Adaptation.

Dr. Robinson also serves as the faculty advisor for 300 Days of Sun, Nevada State College’s literary journal.
