NSC unveils new scorpion statue, introduces new traditions

This semester marked yet another first for the college; in addition to the grand opening of the two new buildings, NSC welcomed a scorpion sculpture, representative of the college’s mascot.

New Deans at NSC

Nevada State College welcomes two new deans this semester:  Dr. Dennis Potthoff, Dean of the School of Education, and Dr. Richard Yao, Dean of Students.

 After an extensive search to find the right fit, Dr. Potthoff was selected to join NSC’s highly-respected School of Education.  He expressed his excitement to be at NSC and his desire to be very involved and connected with the NSC community.
