Learn the caring sciences

With the intentional structuring of the curricula in the caring science based upon the work of nurse theorist Dr. Jean Watson, our faculty are here to support you on your journey to academic and professional success. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Nevada State College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

The Full-Time Track is the traditional route for new and transfer students to become professional nurses.  Students in this track attend on a full-time basis for four semesters.  After completion of the program, graduates are qualified to take the registered nurse licensing examination (NCLEX-RN).
