Peer Support Training

One of the many advantages to being a student worker at NSC is the chance to participate in our annual Peer Support Training. This multi-day training event is open to student workers in all units and gives you the opportunity to:

• Meet other student workers
• Get up to date with any changes at the college
• Learn about the history and culture of NSC
• Receive training on the best practices in peer support
• Increase your understanding of diversity and inclusion
• Become a stronger leader

Typically, this training takes place each August, before the beginning of the fall semester.
