Campus Commuter

Shuttle Service for Nevada State and CSN Students

Many of you have expressed the need for more transportation options to/from campus. We heard your concerns and are pleased to announce a new campus shuttle service in partnership with College of Southern Nevada (CSN). The shuttles will stop at all three CSN campuses (West Charleston, North Las Vegas, and Henderson), and Nevada State University.

Students are encouraged to download the TripShot app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, to use the Campus Commuter.

Once you have downloaded the app, follow these simple steps to connect with the Campus Commuter route:

  1. Open the TripShot app
  2. Select “Log in with Company Name
  3. Enter “Nevada State
  4. Enter your NS login information
  5. Select “Login

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the Campus Commuter last?

The Campus Commuter is a one-year pilot program. Future plans will be based on rider feedback and demand.

Can anyone ride the Campus Commuter?

No. Currently, only students can ride the Campus Commuter. Students must present a valid student ID when boarding the shuttle. Shuttle service will be complementary through the end of February on a first come, first served basis. After the mobile application is fully-tested, students will need to reserve a seat on the shuttle using the app. Faculty and staff participation will be re-evaluated after the program is launched.

How do I report an emergency?

Please call emergency services immediately by dialing 911.

How do I report a non-emergency?

Please call non-emergency services at 702-895-3668.

How will I know when my shuttle has arrived?

If you are waiting at your pick-up location, you will see the shuttle arrive. Our shuttles will have Nevada State College and CSN decals and our drivers wear uniforms.

How much does the Campus Commuter cost?

The Campus Commuter is a free program, currently funded by a grant through the Nevada Governor’s Finance Office.

Is the Campus Commuter available on weekends or holidays?

At this time, the Campus Commuter runs Monday through Friday. There is no service on weekends or NSHE holidays.
