To define eligibility for academic recognition.
Degree-seeking students who complete twelve (12) or more graded (A-F) credits in an academic semester and achieve a semester grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or better are placed on the dean’s list. Remedial credits will not count toward the 12-credit completion.
Students are eligible to receive honors at the time of graduation if: 1) at least half of the required letter-graded (A-F) degree credits have been completed at Nevada State College and 2) the student has an NSC grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5.
Students in programs where S/U grades are mandatory for required courses will not be eligible for honors if fewer than 52 letter-graded (A-F) credits have been completed at NSC.
