BE ENGAGED with your peers and extend your educational experience beyond the classroom with NSSA. You’re already a member!

You’re already succeeding in changing the course of your own life by earning a college degree. You can make a difference in the life of the whole campus by embracing your membership in the Nevada State Student Alliance (NSSA). As the official student government of our campus, NSSA is an alliance of students who advocate for the good of the college, and all enrolled students are automatically a part of the organization. Whether you are just beginning, in the middle, or nearing completion of your studies, you’re in great company among students with a variety of educational and occupational interests.

This close-knit, inclusive, and transparent organization draws many strengths and opportunities from members’ diversity, and NSSA leaders share a unique inside perspective of the wants, needs, and hopes of our student body. With this knowledge, they create a progressive and lively dialogue between the student body and the college’s administration to inspire real change and shape new traditions.

NSSA delegates and senators enjoy the ultimate educational experience at Nevada State College by working to foster school pride as well as cultural exchange and faculty-student interaction outside the classroom. And, because NSSA governs and helps fund many campus clubs and organizations, you’ll enjoy opportunities for workshops, internships, special lectures, and travel. Your professional proficiency and leadership skills get an extra boost, as do your networking opportunities. Learn more about how to BE A DELEGATE in the FAQs section or by dropping in at the NSSA offices on the first floor of the Rogers Student Center.

If you want to see what NSSA is all about, or if there is an issue you are following, please attend a meeting! All meetings are open to the public per the Nevada Open Meeting Law. The most up-to-date information regarding upcoming meetings and agendas, please visit
