Lisa Foreman

As a proud Las Vegas native, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Nevada State College. It was while I was a student at Nevada State College that I found my passion for higher education and working with students. From there I continued to graduate school completing a master’s degree from Kansas State University in Academic Advising. I have worked in higher education for over ten years. Prior to becoming an academic advisor, I worked as a college career advisor and instructor teaching academic and career success courses. As a first generation and non-traditional student I have learned from my own personal experiences and strive to assist students with their journey to accomplishing their academic and professional goals.

Eric Leinen

I came to NSC as an Academic Advisor in March 2022, after spending 15+ years working in education abroad at the university level.  I grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota, but today I love living in the desert.  My degrees are in English (BA) and Counseling and Student Affairs (MS), both from Minnesota State University Moorhead.  My time in education abroad has given me an appreciation for other cultures and customs, and I fully support NSC’s mission of community, diversity and equality.
