¡Hola! I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I am the first person in my family to graduate from high school, the first to attend and graduate from college, and the first to graduate with a Master’s degree. Due to finances, my immigration status, and life circumstances, I started off my college journey in community college and then transferred to U.C.L.A. where I graduated with a degree in American Literature and Culture, and a minor in African-American Studies. I am honored to work with the future leaders of Nevada and society as part of #TeamNepantla.
