Dr. Krystle Oates earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Southern University and A&M College and her Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Measurement and Statistics with a focus in program evaluation from the University of Iowa. While in graduate school Dr. Oates held a fellowship with ACT, Inc. where she engaged in college choice research focusing on college match. She has taught mathematics and statistics at both the high school and college level in Los Angeles, CA and Iowa City, IA. Dr. Oates recently transitioned from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine where she worked as the Accreditation Coordinator, and helped the school to successfully renew its accreditation.
Dr. Oates regularly teaches: Math 120 (Fundamentals of College Mathematics), 120E (Introduction to College Mathematics), Stats 391 (Applied Statistics for Biological Sciences)
