I am a proud alumna of Nevada State College, and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor addiction treatment and prevention. Following a desire to further my education, I went on to receive my master’s degree in social work from University of Las Vegas Nevada (UNLV). During my educational career at UNLV, I was a graduate assistant for three years. In this role, I collaborated with professors and agencies in the Las Vegas Valley to help provide practicum sites for social work students. Through my graduate assistantship, my passion for working in higher education started and developed into a dream career. I am grateful and honored to come back to my alma mater to guide students to their future careers.
