I am a first-generation student and an NSC graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Resource Science. After completing my undergraduate program, I began pursuing a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) at UNLV, with an emphasis in environmental policy. I am particularly interested in science-based departments in the government.
I love to empower and encourage Nevada State College students to “be the difference” on and off-campus. Once a semester, I put together a volunteer event to clean up a national park or recreation area. I also advocate for the power of voting on campus in local elections and general elections. Our vote and our voice is our power! I created the Nevada State Alliance of Science club on campus and I am thrilled to report that it continues today. In my free time, I enjoy visiting state and national parks, photography, and video games.
