As a proud Las Vegas native and first-generation college graduate, I believe in the value education can bring to an individual, a college, and a community. My passion to work in higher education stemmed from four years as a student worker and my willingness to help my student peers. Soon after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I began work at Nevada State College as a recruiter. I then transitioned my contribution to the institution by joining the Academic Advising Center’s liberal arts and science team where I specialize in giving advice to all liberal arts major students. I cherish my role for the opportunity I have to work with our diverse and vibrant student population. Currently, I am pursuing a Master in Business Administration at UNLV. I enjoy spending time with family, going on road trips, and supporting any Nevada State College or community-sponsored events.
