Nevada State College president to give State of the Campus Address

Nevada State College President Bart Patterson will give his first State of the Campus Address on Thursday, Sept. 13, beginning at 4 p.m. The presentation is part of the college’s first annual Spirit Week schedule of events.
Interested members of the public and the media are invited to attend and hear more about the college’s current and upcoming initiatives, including student success, the expansion of physical facilities, technology goals, funding, and the role of the college in the diversification of the state’s economy.

WHERE: Liberal Arts & Sciences Building, 1021 East Paradise Hills Dr., Henderson, Nev.
DATE: Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012
TIME: 4 p.m. (seating begins at 3:30 p.m.)
In commemoration of the college’s 10th Anniversary, a time capsule ceremony led by student ambassadors will directly follow the State of the Campus Address. The time capsule will be buried on NSC grounds post-event to be opened during the college’s 20th anniversary celebration.
