COVID-19 Vaccinations

In partnership with the state of Nevada, the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is coordinating the COVID-19 vaccination process for faculty, staff, and students in Southern Nevada. UNLV has been designated point-of-dispensing (POD) location for the COVID-19 vaccine for NSHE in Southern Nevada.

The following are eligible to receive the vaccine, as outlined below.

  • Employees with Medical Conditions: NSHE faculty and staff who are 18 years old and older with underlying medical conditions identified by the CDC
  • All NSHE Employees: Academic Faculty, Administrative Faculty, Classified Staff, Student Employees, GAs, Part-Time, Contract, etc.
  • Students with Medical Conditions: NSHE students who are 18 years old and older with underlying medical conditions identified by the CDC
  • All Students: 18 years and older
  • Family Members with Underlying Medical Conditions: Family of NSHE employees and students who are 18 years old and older with underlying medical conditions identified by the CDC
  • All Family Members: Family members of NSHE faculty, staff and students who are 18 years old and older

Times and Locations

Appointments are required at the UNLV Maryland Parkway campus and you will be provided with specific location information with your appointment confirmation. Individuals are encouraged to receive the vaccination at any site and are not required to go to a NSHE-run location.
