Shuttle Service for Nevada State and CSN Students

Many of you have expressed the need for more transportation options to campus. We heard your concerns and are pleased to announce a new campus shuttle service in partnership with College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Initially, the shuttles will stop at all three CSN campuses (West Charleston, North Las Vegas, and Henderson), Nevada State College, and the East Las Vegas Library.

ABOUT CAMPUS COMMUTER

Campus Commuter is a express shuttle service in partnership with Nevada State College and the College of Southern Nevada. During the pilot phase, the program will consist of two fixed routes connecting each of the four college campuses. There is one 24-passenger shuttle dedicated to the Blue Line (between CSN Charleston & CSN North Las Vegas), and two 24-passenger shuttles assigned to the Black Line (between Nevada State College & CSN North Las Vegas). Students need to show their Nevada State College ID to ride the shuttle.

MOBILE APP

Students are encouraged to download the DoubleMap app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, to use the Campus Commuter.

Once you have downloaded the app, follow these simple steps to connect with the Campus Commuter route:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Campus Commuter is a one-year pilot program. Future plans will be based on rider feedback and demand.

No. Currently, only students can ride the Campus Commuter. Students must present a valid student ID when boarding the shuttle. Shuttle service will be complementary through the end of February on a first come, first served basis. After the mobile application is fully-tested, students will need to reserve a seat on the shuttle using the app. Faculty and staff participation will be re-evaluated after the program is launched.

If you are waiting at your pick-up location, you will see the shuttle arrive. Our shuttles will have Nevada State College and CSN decals and our drivers wear uniforms.
