COVID-19 Vaccinations | Nevada State College

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Students are highly encouraged to get a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before October 1, 2021. Full vaccination must be completed before November 1, 2021 in order for students to be able to register for Spring classes. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit our Vaccine Information page.

Vaccinations at Nevada State

For fall 2021, students are not required to be vaccinated to come to campus or attend classes. However, on August 19, 2021, the Nevada Board of Health approved a measure that all students must be fully vaccinated to enroll in spring 2022 classes. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated now – it is by far the best way to keep our community safe.

Enrollment for the spring begins on November 1st. To become fully vaccinated by this date, you’ll need to begin the vaccination series by October 1st.
