Above and Beyond
#FRONTLINESCORPIONS

It is during challenging times we see the best of humanity and hold close those who are most dear. There are many members of our Scorpion family on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis. We will shine the spotlight on some of our students and alumni, and encourage you to let us know about others as well.

Bessy Angue
CLASS OF 2018 | SCHOOL OF NURSING

Bessy Angue, a 2018 Nevada State College graduate of Nevada State’s School of Nursing, is a nurse at Mountain View Hospital. After fearlessly working the front line to treat patients with COVID-19, she contracted the virus herself. We are so happy to hear about her miraculous recovery and are beyond proud of her bold and courageous spirit in battling this virus, both on behalf of her patients and for herself. We are grateful for your service, Bessy!
